Interactive Digital Magazine (U-Magz)

This is the digital magazine that me and my friend do for our MM Design subject this semester. We do this thing base on Flash based in technical part and also Illustrator+Photoshop to doing the content. Since this blog are not support Flash Player, so i just do the screen capture of the interface. Most of the picture shown below is made by me ^^

SCENE 15: Last Class+MM Exhibition Day

Happy+Sad. This is the final class of MM seminar class this semester. Many good things are happen during this class conducted. Thanks to Mr. Syam for teaching us and give us some experience in this, insya allah, final semester of us. Thank to being great to all of my friends.

I'll be missing all of you guys.

Honestly this class gain more and more friends of mine in multimedia before. Very very thanks to each of you give me a great time to spending with. Hopely when we are going to life in our live, we still contact each other. Love u guys and very thank you Mr. Syam to give his knowledge and time sharing with us.

Nb: Since this day have an event called MM & IT exhibition Day, and i do submit my work in two project and i hope i will get some achievement by tomorrow result. wish me luck.

SCENE 14: My-Presentation-Day

Since Our lecture think that if we do the presentation based on the rules that have been made before (the Metric Number list) so that would be not enough time to finish all the presentation. So the lecture come with the good idea, he ask our free time to make a presentation and i choose the day after this announcement made. But suddenly i forgot if in that day i cant do presentation regarding need to renew passport, then i inform the lecture to cancelled my presentation and extend it into the next day.

Taaraaaa...Presentation are going smoothly since only few of our friends in those room (B0030) so it ake me not too nerveous but honestly i do a mistake in the slide, actually i've made the slide by power point but also made another slide by flash and i choose to do he presentation with flash, but the flash presentation that i have made is too small in the term of font size as well as the image, so i think i will lost mark coz this thing TT. But whatever the result be, god to know the best for me. PASRAH.

SCENE 13: Basic Lightning Photography

Hohooo, this is another event that we have made. All of the Successful team are coming from the student are not join the industrial visit last week. The lecture ask me to do another event so the choice has decide on Basic Lightning Photography. Even in the morning we have a problem regarding the room issues, means the room that we had booked still closed while the participant of the workshop are start coming. OMG. OMG. OMG. But this thing are not gong so long, the technician have come to our room, and opened it for us. Then the AJK trying harder to make the preparation going faster since we already a lot of time waiting for the technician. Then alhamdullillah, it is going smoothly ;)

SCENE 12: Presentation Day-2

By this way, as usual we heard the some of our friend give their presentation. Even our lecture have ask us to do search the guideline to be a good presenter, but i think only small amount of our class have implement it. What i've been thinking is, i think to be good presenter we have gain or present skill and do more a lot of presentation to reduce the nervous. Then what would my presentation becomes? dunno. will see.

SCENE 7: Mystery Masquerade Night

Have you remember what iv already mention in previous post about Dinner Plan??
Then the day come in! 23 MArch 2011 is a great day since in this day the plan to making the grand dinner for all of MM-Seminar class become real, placed in EDC Hotel, UUM. A lot of fun things mixed together on that day, with the glamour and cool dresses we corporate to participated in this event since it would be the last event (maybe) for those who liked to going practical in the next semester.

Overall the part was fun, and guess what??
i've been chosen to be a queen of the night! OMAIGOD!
i swear, how can they choosing me to be a queen, since i didn't think i did fulfill the requirement, but anyway thanks to the judge ^^ and all of my friends of course who have made this event become a great memory to me. Hopely one day we will meet you again guys!

SCENE 11: Industrial Visit

The theme nowadays is: refreshing+learning.
but really deeply sorry,  cant join this even, hiks since i have a Co-Curriculum Day in the next day, and i cant make any excuses for this. But even i'm not join this trip, i have the information also from my firend who joined the trip, the 1st place that they visited was Silver Ant company, 2nd: MAC3 lab, and the last one is; I-city. hohoHo 'irri'- nak jugak! huhuhu.

Once they are in the way back to home (UUM-red), i'm in my way doing the Co-Curriculum assignment while i do opening the facebook also, but suddenly when i was boring and need refresh my brain once i open the facebook, some of my friend shout out their status with the scary word 'accident'. I do research whats going on with their status, sadly i've got the information if they are in trouble now, the bus that they take in their way going back to UUM has accident, astagfirulloh i said, i just can pray for god to save all of them. Alhamdulillah only few my fiend got injured, but not too bad. Hopely u guys can recover from any pain also traumatic, god save us.

The presentation will be marked based on these scales:
Very poor 0.5 mark
Poor 1 mark
Moderate 1.5 marks
Good 2 marks
Excellent 2.5 marks

1. Visual aid tools (clear, appropriate and easy to follow)

a. Physical appearance and outfit
b. Speaking clearly and loudly
c. Well controlled action and gestures (body language)
d. Effective communication between presenter and audience
e. Presenter controls the presentation very well and confident

SCENE 9: Presentation Guideline

As the multimedia student, the presentation is not something new to be affair with since we need, either wanna do or not, to do a lot of presentation especially for the project for every subject that we take. Then did u know that if the presentation is a important part to explain our product or our research to be interest with??

since it too important for us, these are the guidelines for the interactive presentation:

• Presentation time 15 to 30 minutes.
• Font size 32 to 44.
• Use bullets for sentences.
• Each slide can contain up to 44 words a picture and last a minute.
• Same background to all slides.
• For dark background colors use bright colors font that is not type-serif.
• Add audio, images and animation.
• Make your presentation interactive by adding a menu and quiz.
• The duration of the presentation is less than the time display.
• Contact with the audience (questions, humor).
• Simple, short, representing such.
• No read the text of the slides.
• We do not talk like we know everything.
• Use utilities like zoom it to focus on important points of the presentation.

HOhooo, hopely everyone can conduct a good presentation later on. see ya.

SCENE 8: Master Degree Sharing

Class are going likes usual, after we having fun together in the Mystery Masquerade Night last wednesday, i guess. The today themes is Hearing the experience of research master degree student. As a degree student, me myself actually lack of the knowledge in how to do the research things which is in the end of all of this will come out with one research paper. The source-ers was en.Fitri and cik.Huda, both of them sharing all of things about their research thesis, from the finding the problem, until meet the solution which will documented in a things called THESIS PAPER.


Yeay, A new knowledge i've get, thanks for sharing wif us ;))


By the end of the class, the lecture have made some announcement due to the presentation date our research paper as well as the blog. Here the detailed:

SCENE 6: Terminologies

Oke by this day, our lovely lecture En.Syam given us a list of the terminologies that related into multimedia. Then he want us to form a group of 4 members and every each group will have one of the task in the list he given and we need to understanding the terms and try our best to describe it into our words (no internet, no dictionary allowed).

UBIQUITOUS TECHNOLOGY!

since all of us already or still taking mobile multimedia and the ubiquitous technology so of course we know what those terms means but we stuck on the re arrange the sentence into simple word. oke then lets say, this terms stands for WEARABLE, which is the technology can allowed us to bring it up everywhere an every time such us mobile phone. For the completed meaning of the UBIQUITOUS, you can refer to www.google.com ;))
